Just a quickie 'update'

Spoke to Phil's consultant and it's a case of waiting to see what happens over the next few weeks, recovery wise

He might well have some right sided weakness but we won't know how bad til we know how much he'll work on it.....

I'm feeling pretty rubbish right now as I've had to get the social workers involved..........................basically we've been struggling, as a 'family' to cope for the last 5 years.

It'll all work out ok I know but it'll be a long haul...............

Don't worry about the social workers, they aren't just there for people who fail at families or can't be bothered. A lot of their work involves families like yours who have a specific problem they need help with. That's why we have them and you shouldn't feel 'rubbish' because you found yourself in a situation not of your doing.

I know the whole thing must be getting you down and I can only stand back and admire you for looking after your whole family. Hope things start looking up soon.
