He came back to the ward, from theatre, around 4am

Still sedated so I'm off in at lunchtime when they're planning to start waking him up to see how he might be

No real news yet as he was still pretty sedated when I left to collect Eve from school.

We won't really know what's going on until he wakes up fully and the post op oedema, around his brain, has started to settle over the next few days

I'll be visiting again tomorrow afternoon if Eve can go and play at her friends' as she can't visit whilst he's on ITU

Just a quickie 'update'

Spoke to Phil's consultant and it's a case of waiting to see what happens over the next few weeks, recovery wise

He might well have some right sided weakness but we won't know how bad til we know how much he'll work on it.....

I'm feeling pretty rubbish right now as I've had to get the social workers involved..........................basically we've been struggling, as a 'family' to cope for the last 5 years.

It'll all work out ok I know but it'll be a long haul...............
