Pixie Dust and a BWV 1BR Score! Now a Couple of Questions

So hubby's birthday is May 2. I have been watching airfares, and I was able to score R/T tix from our preferred airport for $194 pp for 3 -- woot! When I went to book our rooms, I was interested in a 1BR, and did a broad search...and a 1BR Standard View at BWV showed up for our stay (Thurs - Sunday) -- pixie dust!!!! The points were 10 fewer than staying in a 1BR at SSR (home), which is good because I'm borrowing from next year.

So couple of questions: What is a Standard View? Parking lot? Impaired view of gardens or pool? I'm not fussy because we probably will spend most of the time exploring the resort and Boardwalk along with the parks.

I have read on the DIS that the buses can be crowded -- does BWV share buses with one of the other resorts? Is it a viable strategy to use a BCV or Swan/Dolphin bus as backup and take the boat?

Finally, we activated our MagicBands in December with our Christmas trip -- do I need to do anything special to activate them now to do any FP+ plans?

Congrats, and have a wonderful trip! Yes, Standard view is parking lot, driveway, etc. It's been so long since we stayed in one, I can't tell you whether it will be noisy or not, but it will probably be a hike from the elevators.

BW shares buses with Swan & Dolphin but not with YC or BC anymore (well, maybe occasionally but most of the time not). And BW picks up and drops off first now. So bus transportation is not the issue it used to be! And of course transportation to HS & EP is via boat or foot!

To make FP+ at 60 days, you need to link your resort ressie and your park tickets to your MDE account. You'll get a new set of MB but you can use them interchangeably. When you check in they'll activate the MBs to serve as room keys.
