Pixar Stock? Where to get one?

Other than ebay, does anyone know of somewhere that I can purchase 1 share of framed Pixar stock? They don't sell it anymore since they merged with Disney and DH really wants one.

The last time I purchased stock was about 5 years ago. I went through I believe, a company recommended by mousesavers.com. I cannot remember the name of the company, maybe Onesharecom, but if you do a search on their site it should come up. Whether they still offer Pixar stock, I do not know.

I don't think you can get Pixar stock issued in your name because the company is now under Disney. Did you want an old share certificate or a certificate issued in your name? I have Pixar stock for DD and it was reissued when the merger took place with Disney certificates.

Not sure if I can locate the old certificates, but I'll look for you. They were nice and we framed the first one. When the stock split, we may have filed the others away somewhere. It all started with just one share......

Haven't had a chance to look for the stock certificates yet, but I'll let you know if I find it.

Hi,

I will also check to see if we have any inventory of Pixar stock. I know that we kept a bunch of the Pixar shares instead of getting Disney stock because of their collectible value. I will check but I think that we may be tapped out.

I remember the big rush at the time of the merger when people were buying Pixar before they went away.

I agree that you rarely see them on ebay.

One other place to check is Scripophily.com. Bob is a real nice guy and they specialize in collectible certificates.
