Pixar Play Parade--where to sit

Okay, we usually sit across from the Bug's Land entrance... the path gets thinner there, and makes for a great spot to watch from. Looking at the new map... I am wondering if the parade goes past the fountain in front of Carthay and up that same route... if you can sit right there up the path next to Carthay on the sidewalk edge? It looks thin there too, and maybe an easy escape out of DCA after the parade passes by (we have dinner ressies at 6:30 at Big Thunder... if the parade is at 5:15 and we sit near the beginning, should give us plenty of time.)

Any experience with this?

Yes you would have plenty of time to watch the parade and then go to dinner at DL. We saw the parade from there on friday and its an easy exit.
