So DH & I head to DL on Friday night. We had not been to DL for a few months and we were excited to finally get to ride the refurbished POTC …. ummm …. not …. it was closed the whole night.

CM said it was a mechanical issue.

On another board people said the slowness was linked to the recent evening closure. I don't think it's supposed to be THAT slow.

(I rode it I think 3 times and the middle time it was notably slow, with a long pause at the end. The other times it was slower than normal but not bad.)

YEAHHHH, well we went back on Sunday and we got on PIRATES!!!

Loved it BUT as many have said, to be honest the only thing I noticed was allot more fog or mist during the battle with the cannonballs.

I am glad that you made it back recently. And that there were no tech issues with those rascally pirates! I love fog, but not to drive in. But then, back then there were not any cars so I am good with it. Cannon fire sounds really cool.. and I love hearing it, well unless I am slated for standing in front of said cannon.
