Pirates....

Well....we are finally here for the past three days. It has been sooooooooo cold that I have been wearing winter coat and even GLOVES!
Went to Pirates on Sunday during extra magic hours at night and ride was down (not working). So being the good little DIS girl that I am I did not let it get me down as these things do sometimes happen. So I waited till my next return to MK (which was yesterday) and waited on a very long line (this was a first for me since the early 70's that Pirates had this kind of line) but I once again knew that no one can take away my MAGIC...it is in my heart! We got into our boat and just as we were to take off... everything came to a stop and the ride went down once again. OH BOY!!!! I am being tested LOL. We had to get out of the boats . The only thing that took care of that for me was that Wishes was only 40 minutes away and sure enough I left the park with a smile on my face and magic in my heart! SO.... anyone who is getting ready to arrive here. Bring some warmer clothing (so glad we did).... and don't let things take away your magic! THE MOUSE TRULY HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR AND HE IS TESTING MINE....
I will once again try to ride the and will let you know when I succeed.

It breaks down a lot lately. thats what you get for cramming brand new complex A100's and a new digital sound into a 30 year old attraction system, it just can't handle the load very well Barbosa is one they have a lot of troubles with for some reason.

I'm happy that you are keeping the magic in your heart... I'm the same way... I don't let those things get to me. I'm just sooo happy to be there. I'm in such a good mood the entire time that I'm there, I can't wait to go back and I'll have to pack for all kinds of weather. Hope you get to ride it!!! good luck!!

Well I am not so sure that Barbosa is a completely different animatronic. If you look at him, his structure seems as if they just changed the "skin". He pretty much has the same motion, shape and stance as the previous pirate up on the ship.
