Pirates & Princesses Party - Don't bother!!

See, I don't think I was condescending. You stated a point, (no characters,) and I called it out. You keep on saying that people are being rude for bringing it up, and saying that wasn't your point, but we wouldn't of brought it up if you hadn't mentioned it in the first place. After two pages of posts, you said that it was because someone else had booked it. You could've saved a lot of trouble for yourself if you had said that in the first place, or you could have never put the no characters into your post in the first place.

Telling people they are rude and condescending for discussing something you posted originally is not helping.

Like I said, my pointing it out to you would do no good, it didn't.

After reading your posts....this may be why you had a less than magical experience. I have been in the parks at closing numerous times and have always been treated with respect.....or course....I am respectful too. As you stated, maybe, it's how you said it.....not what you said.....or possibly you weren't treated as badly as you believe.

Have you been there for the beginning a special event, as you exited from a dinner reservation?

Trust me, it wasn't as you describe. In fact, I suspect most people would have handled it much worse than I did. I was very respectful of their wishes, didn't get irrate, and didn't even get into a long discussion with the CM. I simply asked if I could get a quick picture and I'll be on my way. The CM was not in the mood to be accommodating so I respected his wishes and moved on.

Why? Because I don't agree with you? I was simply posting based on the facts I was given.

It wasn't what you said. I actually somewhat agree with your point about doing better research. We all can make mistakes and miss things though, right?

It was the condescending way it was said.

I agree, this thread is long passed it's usefulness. I'm done as well.

Some took it upon themselves to claim I was contradicting myself with regards to how well I did my research. When, in fact, they erroneously assumed I did the CRT research and booking, which I didn't (as I explained in the previous post).

I know the OP has left the thread, which is probably for the best, but I just wanted to comment on this.

Just because the OP's friend actually booked the ADR doesn't mean that the OP couldn't research it before agreeing to go. I know if I was shelling out that kind of dough, I would definitely find out what I was paying for before letting my friend sign me up. Just my two cents . . .
