I placed this in the wrong thread, sorry! Resubmitting here where it belongs!

I would like everyones opinion on which of these children's events people liked better. My two grandchildren will be going on one in the summer. We will be staying at the BCV so the albatross would be convenient or we can use the pool at the GF while they are on the Pirates cruise which may be fun. (DVC),
Also my Grandson is seeing an allergist for hives. If he is allergic to peanuts will they give him a different lunch then the PB & J?
Thanks!!! :cheer2:

They will give him a cheese sandwich. I don't think they will give the other kids cheese however - but they will withhold all sandwiches until the are getting off the boat.

My kids have done both. Both are really similar. The albatross is smaller - only 12 kids as opposed to 20 - and they go into the World Showcase Lagoon. While I thought that that was really cool, the kids actually seemed more impressed with boating around the larger Bay Lake than getting into Epcot.

What days/times is the Albatross cruise offered?

For anyone who might be interested:

There is a new, 3rd cruise that is going to be at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

I took my two grandsons, both were just turning 5, on the pirate cruise, and they loved it. The best pictures in my scrapbook are of them going down the ramp to the boat and sitting in the boat. they never ate their PB&J, only the candy. It was those uncrustables. These guys don't like them. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My DS (4 then) LOVED the pirate cruise. I didn't consider the Albatross one simply because he still raves about the pirate cruise and I didn't want him to be disappointed. He's going again Easter week. He's 6 now.

We have reservations for the early breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at GF because when he went last time, he didn't eat the lunch either and was STARVING by the time we got somewhere.

So, he'll have a full belly and ready to hit the water! :thumbsup2

I'll be able to relax at the pool, do some shopping, etc... while he's out with the boat. The GF is such a wonderful place to explore and dream about "someday" staying there!

Good luck in your decision!
