Main Street Bakery for breakfast, Enchanted Grove, Columbia Harbour House
We were up early, trying to make it to rope drop at the Magic Kingdom but it looked like everyone wanted to visit the Magic Kingdom today and the line for the Express Monorail went down and even across the open space below it. Boat was full too, so we hit the Resort Monorail for a more leisurely journey to the Magic Kingdom. We arrived right after the opening show and got in without a great wait.
We wanted to first hit the Main Street Bakery, since we had heard so much about it. There was a line out the door!! We got in line, were handed the menu and NO french toast loaf - hm, maybe they have it somewhere else. Once we got up to the counter I asked again what we could get on the dining plan and we were told that we could have one savoury item and one bakery item and a drink each. I didn't know we could have SO many things, but we were hungry. We picked up our tray and there were two free tables, so we got one of them and enjoyed our breakfast.
We both chose one of the Ham, Egg, and Cheese Croissants. These were wonderful. Very silky soft eggs with soft cheese and thinly sliced ham. Very nice and not as greasy as the one I had had at the Pop foodcourt.
Everyone raved about these - cinnamon rolls - and they were all right!!!

It was so soft and lots of icing and it was HUGE, more than enough for the two of us to share. Once we had finished it we were SO full we could not eat the remaining pastry item we had gotten.
A chocolate croissant. We tasted it two days later and it was still nice, but I can only imagine how nice it would have been fresh. Since we did not want to throw it out I went back to the counter and asked if we could have a container to go and was handed one with a huge smile.
By the way we both had an orange juice, but we did not take photos of these!
After breakfast we picked up a Fastpass for Space Mountain, then walked over to Fantasyland, but the line for Peter Pan was far too long, so we decided on riding Haunted Mansion.
When we walked up to Liberty Square the Dream along with Mickey show was about to start, so we found a spot right by the side and sat on one of the fences and enjoyed the show.
After the show we had a few photopass photos done and then noticed that the new "Move it, shake it" Parade was about to start. We stayed right at the edge of the pavement opposite the castle and waited for it to begin. It was fun from start to finish. The spot was absolutely perfect - the Mickey and Minnie float was right there in front of us and everyone was having such a fun time.
After the show I had gotten really thirsty, and since we were close to the Enchanted Grove I wanted to try something new I had read so much about.
Raspberry Lemonade Slush - That was very tart at first, but it really grew on me and I finished the whole thing - even though I had a hard time "drinking" it. I liked it so much I even had another one on our last day!
We rode Space Mountain and TTA
and decided that IF we wanted to have a light lunch we needed to have it now because we had a really early dinner at Yak and Yeti.
We walked through Adventureland, hopped onto the Pirates ride and checked out the menu of the El Pirata y el Perico, but we did not like the menu too much, so we decided to head over to the Columbia Harbour House.
While walking over we thought about sharing one CS credit, but once we were there we decided to both have an entree and skip dessert.
We shared the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich - white tuna with lettuce and tomato on toasted multigrain bun, which I ALWAYS love! The tuna "spread" is so yummy and together with the lettuce, tomato and mulitgrain bread it is just the perfect sandwich.
We also shared the BLT Salad - Mixed greens with crispy chicken, bacon, egg, and tomato. (Thanks MickeyNicky, for giving me that idea!) That was a wonderful salad, with warm chicken nuggets and real crumbled up bacon. We were so full when we left.
There was still time before the parade, so we took a few photos of Splash Mountain before we staked out a spot right in front of Liberty Tree Tavern.
We were standing there for about half an hour before the parade started and once it was over we discovered that we both had gotten sunburned! We decided to ride Big Thunder Mountain before we went back to the resort.
