Pirates of the Carribean(ATTRACTION VS. MOVIE)

I have one question regarding POTC.

1. Does WDI plan future enhancements to the attraction POTC to blend with the movie POTC or do they plan to keep a small separation.

I haven't heard any official announcements from the Mouse or rumors from disney CM's either way... but its doubtful that any changes to the ride itself will be made, (too costly) but I would expect some movie related merchandise to show up in the store at the POTC exit.

I'll ask around and see what I can see. The movie premier party will be held in New Orleans Square in Anaheim. I would expect if any changes to the ride will be made, they would be completed by then.

Judging from what has happened in the past (Country Bear Jamboree recieved no changes, but stickers were distributed in the park and the WDW RR got some music from the film in its Frontierland spiel) any changes will be minor and are not very likely. In any event, seeing as this is not an official Disney site and this is not the "Rumors" section of these boards (which hasn't had any such information so far), you may be barking up the wrong tree.

Safari Steve - thats a good point about what happened (or DIDN'T happen) to the country bear attraction when the CB movie came out. Heck, the CB attraction got replaced in DL with the new WtP ride. How's that for a movie tie in?
