Pirate's Night & Palo's

Arrgh - I confused Pirate Night on the Eastern with Wednesday instead of Tuesday, so we made Palo ressies for Tuesday. My thought was an earlier dinner (7:30) means earlier to bed for a bright start to St. Thomas the next day. However, Pirate Night pretty much kills that idea!!

On the other hand, and earlier dinner means no rush to get up on deck. Has anyone else done Palo's on Pirate Night - good, bad, ugly?

We don't get to the ship until around 1:30 - so I'm not sure we'll be able to change to another night. I guess we'd move it to Wedneday or Thursday if we did.

If I were in your place, I would go to the Palo reservation station when you first board the ship and speak with them about changing your reservations. With a week-long cruise, there should be more availability for bookings.

We changed the night of our meal at Palo (only Pirate Night was available when we booked it on line) and added the brunch, on a 4-day cruise with no problems.

I did the exact same thing.. goofed and booked our Palo dinner for Pirate night.

I was planning on trying to change it as well as booking brunch as soon as I can when we board.

We had Palo ressies on Pirate night. Our servers saved menus and bandanas for us. We still had plenty of time to change and enjoy the festivities. The only drawback was that we weren't hungry. Not being hungry was no big deal because we don't like to eat that late.

Great idea about the menus and bandanas. I'll remember to ask our servers if we can't make the switch - but I'm hoping we can. It's likely to be a Lumiere night, and I'd rather miss a PC night anyway.

we had to do paolo's on pirate night and it worked out fine. We had late dinner seating time for our regular meals.So we went to paolos had dinner earlier , and at our waiters( our regular waiters)suggestion came down to our restaurant that we were assigned to for that night and saw some of the festivities there. As we were leaving paolo's they had pirate bandanas out so we were able to get one of those on our way to join in the rest of the activities.

I guess if I could have done it differently I would have preferred that. So as other have said see if it can be changed, but if it doesnt work out I think you will still be able to enjoy pirate night
