During the June '06 trek to Disney, I am trying to decide whether to take the family to Pirates Dinner Adventure or to Medieval Times --- any suggestions?

Also, I wanted to find out about the Helicoptor Rides --- are they worth it?

It reallly depends on what your family is into? We are big medieval/renaissance fans, usually going to the Renaissance fair in costume each year here in PA. So I will be booking Medieval times for my family's trip.

Are your families into Pirates of Caribbean or King Arthur style? How old are children? The reports I've read on both = same food fare for each pretty much (fair only.......don't expect anything great here). So you are pretty much going for ambiance. Take a vote within the family and see what they weant. :)

I thought the Medieval show was the more interesting, but it seems as though the children definately prefer the boisterous pirate show.
It is easier to get the pirate show tickets for a much deeper discount than the Medieval show, thus making the former a better evening out for the kids.

Can someone please tell me about the Pirate Adventure!! I have three boys who LOVE pirates. Is this the one at the Grand Floridian?? If not where can I find tickets at a reasonable price? Thanks!

We went to the Pirate Adventure Dinner show this past July. I must say that I was not all that impressed with the show or the food. I would definately not do this show again.

;)

I have to agree. We went last June on a very rainy Friday evening and it was just OK and very expensive. Free beer and wine, but it's very poor quality. The food is just so so and the show gets boring after awhile.

There is another post running about MT vs Pirates. Pirate show gets some pretty bad reviews.

have done the Medeival, Pirates and Dolly Parton's show. Medeival was our favorite.
