Pirates counter service was open yesterday!

The counter service restaurant opposite of PotC was OPEN yesterday! We about fell over! It was pretty busy too.
I hope that is signs of things to come!
We only ate there once -- YEARS ago. The menu looked to be the same as it had. (Tacos, taco salad, churros, etc)
Smelled good. But we had already eaten lunch, so we did not order anything there.

Sweet! That place is never open when I'm there, but then again I'm never there at peak times. I guess that's what I get! Maybe some day ....

Maybe since the rehab of POTC is soon to be finished (if not already?) they will keep this restaurant open more often. I hope this is true since I don't think I have ever seen it open more than once or twice in the many times I have been to MK. Offerings other than burgers are always welcome. Thanks for the update.

I have never seen it open..You might be right maybe with the new opening it wil stay open, I will keep my fingers crossed that they will be open in late AUg..

That's great news! We always liked their taco salad but it hasn't been open on our last few trips. Fingers crossed the crowds coming to PotC will keep them churning out those churros and tacos.

I agree- The food here is great! My kids and I ate there once and split something for a snack. My daughter wanted it the next year and it wasn't open! I hope they keep it open now!

That's great news! We love the tacos & taco salads there--it's a nice change from the other CS locations. Finish it off with a Dole Whip pineapple float from Aloha Isle & it's pretty much one of our favorite MK meals.

You made my day. I will be there July 9th to the 13th and am praying they will be open. I love their taco salad. Its my mom's and my favorite place. Hope they are also open when I go back with my mom on September 3rd.
