Hi all,
Over the last 12 months I have loved reading everybodys else pre trippies and trip reports so tonight ive decided im gonna give it a go !!
Heres hoping I can do as good a job as the ones ive read -
THE CAST
ME (30) Louise
I am a disney nut and adore anything that has a disney logo on it. I am chief planner budgeter and also chef, cleaner and chauffeur for this trip.
Darling Hubby (34) Wayne
Now I am slowly converting him to the disney bug he is a devoted father and the best husband a girl could wish for !!
DS1 (10) Ben
A fantastic big bro but a serious scaredy cat when it comes to rides - my mission is to take him on a rollercoaster so that he can see how much fun it can be! He tends to watch them and think for too long and then chickens out!!
DS2 (7) Cameron
Now ive agonised over how to describe this little cherub but ive decided if im going to do this Im going to have to be honest and write from the heart or its going to be very difficult to write !!
DS2 was diagionised with eye cancer at the age of 20 months and has been on treatment on and off ever since. He has lost his left eye to the cancer and now has an artificial eye. He also has high functioning aspergers.
He is a true gem and is only wanting to kno about the trip when we have just 1 day till we leave as he is sick of looking at guide books and he has planned his route through the parks and quite frankly is ready to leave now!
DS3 (6) Daniel
This is my very own ABU he is so cheeky and full of energy - if ever we lose a child you can guarantee its this 1 if somethings shiny he is attracted to it like a moth to a flame. He also seems to have no fear this little guy will do anything !!
DD (2) Keira
Finally weve got darling daughter she is so girly I love her to bits!! I cant wait to see her face when we meet the princesses. CinderBrella (as she calls her) Is her idol!!
DD is coeliac so she cant eat Gluten - Im assured that wdw caters extremly well for her and from many conversations ive head with chefs im very hopeful!!
We have finally got to the more exciting part my trip plans . . .
We leave from Manchester airport on 28/02 and return 15/03.
I have 2 adrs planned ;
Cinderellas Royal Table on our first day there! Last trip I got to do nothing girly as the boy vote won over everytime well now we have a princess I intend to use her as an excuse to live my dreams
and Ohanas for breakfast on my ds2 birthday.
Id love to have more but because of ds2 aspergers I have decided im best not to try and over stimulate or over plan as a lot is going to depend on how well he copes with the parks.
I am also planning to take everyone to Clearwater beach and take a trip on Caption Memos pirate ship. I know my 3 boys will love this !! I have phoned them and they told me to book on the day we wish to do it in case we have issues with DS2. They have been fantastic!!
I also have plans for stitch to give my ds a gift at ohanas the cm on the phone said if we bought and wrapped it and handed it over at the podium they would be able to sort the rest - Cant wait to see his face!!
Our last trip was in 2005 and was part of a make a wish trip we plan to make a return visit to the most amazing place in the whole of Disney world its a place where kids with a life threatning illness can stay and its truly amazing its called Give Kids The World and we simply have to dedicate a day to go back there and soak up the memories it provided for us as a family. I truly believe that the pixie dust that this village sprinkled on our family gave ds2 the will to fight his disease and the change in him after our visit was commented on by everyone.
When all our kids are grown I and DH plan to go back here and volunteer to go a small way to repay our debt of gratitude.
That got a bit deep there so think its time for me to confess that I have actually been jumpin all round the house today with only 1 week till our trip I am positivly bursting with excitement
My dd loves the crazzzzy momma for a few ours but even she has decided im way too crazzy for her and gives me the eyes rolling look along with her big bros.
Hoping ur stil with me ,
