We did exactly what you did in our last trip 2 years ago. We did both the same day so our three boys were all decked out in Pirate gear for the cruise. It was soooo much fun. The CMs were amazing. We are not doing it this August when we go again because it is expensive especially for all 5 of us. It an every other trip for us. I think it is worth the money if you can swing it. I will DM you some pics later when I can. Feel free to DM me questions if you have any specific questions.
ooh, great idea about doing it all on one day! we did that with breakfast at CRT and then to BBB - the girls had an amazing day... Is the pirates and pals voyage on all year?? we go in may 2012 - thanks x
I am surprising my twin's with this in May on their birthday. I will let you know how it goes if you would like. We are doing it on the 20th. It sounds like a ton of fun and my two LOVE pirates so I am excited to see their face on this!
My son is all about the pirates. I wish my daughter wanted to be a Princess but she is all about whatever her brother is about. However she is too young for the Pirates League. Disney store has these really cute pirate tshirts that I was planning on getting for him to wear since it will probably be too hot for a costume in June. But they do not have anything similar for girls. Any ideas? *Note she is 2 and still in a stroller so it has to be comfy to sit in.

Sounds like fun We haven't done either one but I want to when we go next year. What is the difference between the Pirates and Pals Voyage and Pirates League?? Not sure what either one is...
we just did this Sunday night. It was fun. A little overpriced....but what isn't overpriced at Disney? I haven't gotten my pics up yet but when I do I can post them here. First we went into a room at the Contemporary (about 8:30 pm) where they had tables with snacks/drinks set up. (pretzels, chocolates, cake, fruit, juice, water, lemonade, coffee/tea). Then Capt. hook and Mr. Smee come in and take pics and play limbo, etc. Then your pirate guide comes in and calls you to your boat (about 9:15) where he proceeds to tell some cheesy pirate jokes and sing cheesy pirate songs (very funny tho). our pirate guide sort of resembled:
and was hilarious. He interacted with everyone quite a bit (introduces each family) and jokes with you a lot. They took us over to see the water parade thing, then parked for the fireworks. After the fireworks on the way back to the hotel he did a Disney trivia game for the kids and gave out prizes. Right before docking he tells a quick story about Peter Pan/Capt. hook and when we got back to the doc, PP was there for pics.
It was fun, although I wasn't properly dressed so I was mostly just shivering and freezing the entire time.
