If we happen to have the Pirates night in Triton's, does the Triton's "dress code" still apply, or can we wear something a little more "tropical?"

Thanks.

Suggested attire is based on the night of the week not by restaurant. So, on that night all restaurants (with the exception of Palo) will welcome tropical attire.

However, keep in mind that DCL asks that no shorts be worn in any of their restaurants in the evening.

Thank you very much kmiles. That answers my question. Actually, my wife's question!!! pirate:

We just got back from a 7 night Eastern, and Pirate Night was scheduled for when we were in Lumiere's. My husband and I wore pirate costumes (floofy shirts, boots, etc) and got rave reviews. I was sad though that so few people were in costume, we only saw one other couple and a few kids.

I am surprised not many more people were dressed up for Pirate's night. In September there were many many people dressed up. I will say that most of these were children, but I would venture to say that more than half of them were decked out....

Is it true that we won't know our dinner rotation until we check in? It would be so much easier to pack if I knew whether Triton's will be a dressy night or a pirate night (even though I don't think I own a puffy shirt. Can't help but think of Seinfeld!)
Our luggage is going to need to be a trunk at this rate.

Most of the adults seemed to be in normal resort casual wear or somewhat tropical depending on where they'd eaten that night.
And no, you don't know what you're scheduled for for dinner until you get there, however, once you /do/ get there you can request any schedule you want (and if it's late, have a good chance of getting it).

We wore pirate costumes for Pirate night. There were not many others but I am sure it will grow with time. We had a lot of fun and got nice cvompliments on our costumes. People that did not dree up were in flowery tropical type clothing. I did not see any shorts at dinner,
