If it's true I just hope it'll be a good movie.
I don't know if I'll like it as much as I've heard of Knightly and Bloom don't want to be involved anymore.
I kinda liked that Will/Elizabeth thing on the side and I don't think it'll be the same without it.
Anyways...I know a lot of you out there want a Pirates 4 so I thought I'd post.

They should stop the series. It's being dragged out now. I don't know what kind of story they're gonna tell if they make a 4th one. I mean the Will/Liz thing is done. They're married, they have a kid, he's living forever, done deal.

I'll go see it anyway, but I wish they would end it. It's kinda over-kill now.

honestly, i think its pretty exciting if they make a 4th movie. my nephew adores pirates and his favorite is, of course jack. and besides. all the little girls at disney get 6+ princesses to choose from, and little boys get the choice between incredibles, cars, peter pan, toy story, and pirates. do you know how much money disney has roped in because of pirates? i mean. the haunted mansion movie came out and you dont see them rushing to every HM to put in an anamatronic eddie murphy, do you?

its an easy money target, really, because as much as people will whine about "oh it's gonna suck" or "its gonna be boring" or whatever, people will go and see it because theyre curious and theyve lasted through the entire trilogy.

and thank you very much, i kind of saw the "elizabeth" role as the biggest mary sue in movie history. im kind of glad that the kiera knightley and orlando bloom side will not be hopping on the bandwagon. their story was way too cliche and boring for me :/

I hope there isn't another movie.. -_- Otherwise that'd ruin the whole series of the movies.. #3 was O.K. Not the best. #'s 1+2 were grrrr-ate! But, 4? No. I don't want there to be another.

But what is the point of him going to the fountain of youth? There's no back story to support it, that's all. I would see if he's going to go find it for Liz and the son so they could be immortal and live with Will, but they're already written out of the story. So Jack's just gonna go to the fountain of youth because he can? I don't know. Unless the writers get really creative on this one, I think it's probably gonna be bad.

And ITA with the money aspect. It has brought in sooo much for Disney. But I think if they continue it much further, people are just gonna get sick of it.

As much as I love the Pirates trilogy, I don't think a 4th movie would be smart.
I don't think it'd be the same without Bloom and Knightely playing Will and Elizabeth.

sequels don't suck - the dark knight is living proof of that
and disney makes awesome movies and you appear to like the first couple of potc movies, so how can you say they suck

I hope they do make another movie, I dont really care if Will and Elizabeth are gone that whole plot line was a little tacky. The 3rd movie wasnt my favorite, but I defineltely still liked it. And it doesnt reallly matter who signs or not or how creative the writers are, if Disney thinks they can make more money off of the series I can guarantee you there will be more movies until there will be no more income from it.

the fountain of youth is a way to make him live forever with his ship that doesnt require him doing a job.

i think it'd make for an interesting movie in "la florida" but only if they do it right.

dark knight was totally an exception to the sucky sequel rule.
spiderman 3 anyone?? bad boys 2? star wars ep 1?? rocky balboa? legally blonde 2? oceans 12/13? dumb & dumberer?
and any of the disney animated sequels (besides toy story 2...another exception) but little mermaid 2, cinderella 2, beauty & the beast 2...crap, crap & more crap

sequels in general are just......bad.

they'll probably makes tons of $$$ off it though....i MIGHT watch it, but i work at a movie theatre...so i dont pay for movies.
