I don't wanna sound compleely out of it, but what exactly is the Pirate & Princess Party?

The pirate and princess party is a hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom. Hard ticket meaning you have to buy special tickets for it. You can't just go in with a regular ticket.

It just started this year. They already had the party in January thru March and now they will have it again in August and September on select dates.

Costumes are great!!! But do you think in August they might be too hot? We have not purchased tickets yet- we are still on the fence about that. If we did go we will dress up a little.

wow, i love this costume, i want this for my costume but everything for women, is too girly or sexy. Did you use a pattern?

I'm so excited. I just got my tickets today in the mail. Now.....I have to start saving for MNSSHP.

When did you order them? I purchased five tkts on Saturday (July 21st) and the CM said we would have to pick them up at MK. I asked her why she could not mail them to us and she said that they take more than a month to mail out?? We are leaving to WDW 8-22-07.

My tickets arrived within 10 days of ordering them - but I think they hate to guarentee that. You are probably safer picking them up when you get there. Right now I wish I had done that - I have to remember to pack ours and I don't want to lose them along the way!!

WHAT??? That's crazy! I just ordered mine on Saturday too and I got them yesterday (Wednesday). I ordered 3 tickets. I would call back to see what's going on. I think the CM must have not known what she was doing!

Me, DD7, DN8, DN13 and DGodSis14 are going to the P&P party on the 24th! My DD7 has her costume and I just ordered mine today. DGodSis is still trying to decide what costume she wants. DN8 has a Jack Sparrow costume and DN13 is trying to decide whether he wants to be Barbossa or Sao Feng.

We can't wait!

Still working out the details of our costumes...worried about the heat. DS6 has a Jack Sparrow costume but I wonder about how hot that may be...but the sun will be mostly down, right? At least we wouldn't be melting in the sun...and I remember that certain lines are air conditioned ...we almost froze actually waiting for Splash Mountain to reopen one afternoon...

Our first hard ticket event! Can't wait! And it doesn't seem like too many others are going 8/24

We were lucky enough to be there in Jan for the debut of the PPP and it was such a blast and well worth the extra money.We are going again Fri Sept 1st!
We have a 2 1/2 yo DD and a 71/2 DSwho loved it and begged to do it again.
Have a blast!

We're on August 11th! It's my DD's 8th birthday. We'll have a party of 15. We've been to MNSSHP for the past 5 years and MVMCP a few times so we're really looking forward to this. The girls in the party are all going to BBB during the day to get ready.

Did they give you a confirmation number when you ordered? They gave me one just incase of any problems. I'm sorry your having problems. I hope it turns out okay!
