Suddenly Pirate whistles and lets everyone know it time to be Whirled! Yahoooo!!! This is a great ride and the kids loved it! Pirate and Val dont do spinny rides so Commander Brad and I HAD to supervise the kids..
It was too cool! A few of us got a car that was spinning so fast it stopped itself, scaring us to death! Princess Erin got to play a few of the CCT games and loved them.We all were starving so we stopped at the Flaming place to get some lunch! I was so sad, they were sold out on chicken and it would be a 30 minute wait, so we ALL had sandwiches! During lunch we made the choice to let the bigger kids do the Kali River Ride and we would take Princess Erin to the Bug Show then call AK a day! We all were tired of fighting the crowds. The kids were a bit irritable. The highlights included Pin Trading! The kids wanted to swim and hangout at the condo!
Two pizzas, 2 bottles of wine, a couple of beers, lots of coke, a Jacuzzi and a pool later all 11 of us were back to our normal happy circus selves! It was fun just chilling out and relaxing! We called it an early night so we would be ready for the next days events!
As I look through the day, it appears I was very unhappy with AK. Ok, so I didnt find the magic in AK, but I found in my kids, in their eyes, in my friends smiles, in my husbands laugh and that is all that matters! I still hold to the truth that ONE DAY in my future, my fondest Disney memory might come from AK, after all, it is a Disney Park!
The kids wake up bright and early knowing we are going to MGM this morning. This is one of the kids favorite parks and they cant wait to get to Rockin Rollercoaster! We once again are herded through security and the lines. My only response is MOOOOO!! I am STILL confuzzled as to why the place seems so crowded! Maybe EVERYONE in the United States DID take the week off and come to Disney World! Most all of them stop in front of us! Pirate and I call this IIP! What is IIP??? Indecision Induced Paralysis....can't move based on the inability to make a decision on what to do...therefore, nothing is done. Sometimes we just laugh at peoples responses!
Cell Phone Charlie and Peyton grabs Fast passes for RnR and we line up for ToT. The wait was not long at all as we got there early, but by the time we got OUT of ToT the park was packed!! I have NEVER in 8 trips, even a Spring Break Trip seen MGM packed this bad!
We caught the Beauty and the Beast show with perfect timing. The seats werent great but we love this show from any seat! At least we had ones that werent bleacher seats!
We got to hear Four For A Dollar as well! These guys always make me smile! We did notice that the cute young blonde guy that usually sings high tenor wasnt singing this time. I hope he is still around, he had a great voice and super personality, not to mention he was really cute!! Love ya Pirate!!!
At this moment I want to remind parents of small children, IF YOU HAVE a child that is upset by loud music and your child is SCREAMING in the ear of the person in front of you, you MIGHT want to take them out until they feel safe and comfortable! The inconsiderateness of people still confounds me! No amount of unhappy children could make us not LOVE this show, so we had a blast!
Cell Phone Charlie and Peyton head to Indiana Jones to get Fast passes and we head to RnR. With the kid swap, several of the kids got to ride 2 times! This ride is awesome and we love it! The 3 musketeers start their pin trading assault on the CMs again. As we bolt from RnR to catch our teeny weeny window Fast pass for the Indiana show, my sunglasses break!!
