Commander Brad and I were off to the horse races except for ONE thing! ! The way the cab went into the parking lot was NOTHING like we went into it and we couldnt remember where the cars were parked! We couldn't even remember what lot we were in, cause we always let the kids remember! It is like this game as to who can remember!!
So the TWO global people who could of cared less where the cars were parked were trying to remember!! Guess we should have cared MORE. By this time I am sure the Tiki Gods have used our family vacation for personal entertainment and they are rolling around laughing hilariously at us! When I think to myself, YOU ARE MESSING WITH A WOMAN ON THE EDGE.
All of a sudden we just HAPPEN to have good luck and find the cars! The driver was really patient with us and he got a good tip! We fortunately find the cars before I lose it again and the waterworks start. I am glad, as I wasnt sure Commander Brad could handle my tears! The Pirate does because he just says something goofy to make me laugh and we move on, but poor Brad, not sure he could deal with the emotionally ON THE EDGE WOMAN!!
We slide in the cars, and speed our way back to the Poly to pick up our families that were almost ALL ASLEEP! As we drive back to the condo, I keep thinking, what a day!! Boy did I have fun and what yummy shrimps those were!! It is amazing that even after a day of wrong turns and issues that the stuff I remember from the day is the good stuff! It was my hope tonight that my children learned something about tolerance, acceptance and HOW to learn to control your temper when you are about to hang someone up by their toes!
I slowly roll over in the bed, Pirate has all the covers and the bed has eaten what sheets I had AGAIN! I wonder if I should start traveling with those little sheet clippy things that hold the bottom sheet on the bed. Nah....that is just tooo ANAL!
Ok wishing I had remembered to pack the coffee again! Smiling Jack Justin is a bit bummed today because we are NOT spending the day with our friends! This is the one-day of the week that we are parting to go our own ways! I am kind of excited about it and I imagine they are too! Part of being in a great friendship is admitting to each other, that we need some space sometimes!
After lining up for parking, we saw an opportunity to park AAA and decided to try it! We are AAA Gold Card Members and have never used it and wanted to give it a chance! We were told very politely that we needed to book our vacation through AAA and have these special certificates to be able to use this service! Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
The twins and Erin wrestled and giggled in the back seat and Princess Erin was using her light up magical wand to turn everyone into frogs. We all HAD to ribbit for her so she could turn us back into people! She said we would look silly hopping around like frogs in MK. (I contemplated telling her just being who we are makes us look silly, but decided NOT too) Then Princess Erin went off that if we went in MK like frogs that people would step on us and mash us, of course that got Smiling Jack Justin going about mashing frogs and farting and every other bodily function noise! Preteens THRIVE on it!! Everyone ribbited except for Cell Phone Charlie. I should have KNOWN something was up then.
We made a bee line to Fantasyland because the past 2 days we have pretty much been doing things that Princess Erin couldnt do. Everyone wanted to give her a chance to ride some things! Besides this give the other kids an excuse to ride them and STILL be cool! I dont know what we will do when Erin grows up a bit more!
The crowds are steadily building and once again I am questioning my choice of vacation weeks again, but I know if i had it to do over, EVEN KNOWING what I know, I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!. Cell Phone Charlie got Fast Passes for Winnie the Pooh, we walked straight on to IASM, then caught Peter Pan! I love this ride can anyone guess why?? I kept looking at Cell Phone Charlie, he wasnt on the phone that was odd!
