Pirate Night

WOW !! Everyone seems to be raving about Pirate Night.

Sounds like we are going to have to get into the act as best we can to. Does anyone know which night is Pirate Night on the Western ?

(First, second ...) Trying in advance to figure which night to make a Palos res and we don't want to miss this, it sounds like so much fun!

On the Western, Pirate Night is on Wednesday (Cozumel). When we did our Western last October, we booked Palo for Tuesday night (Caymen, well, it was Costa Maya on our cruise) and it worked out well. Didn't miss too much going on in other dining rooms. Have fun!

Thanks for the info. From all the posting about night, it sounds as if it's a whole lot of fun, lots of activities and esp the fireworks.

I am just curious - why do they do the fun pirates night when the are in the late ports like Cozumel for the 7 night and Bahamas for the 4 night. Do they have to be to set off the fireworks??

It just seems strange to have it then when there is a chance to still be out in Cozumel instead of trying to rush back and get ready. I know not the at sea nights because they are formal but why not Grand Caymen night when they leave at 4:30pm anyway?

I can't say why for sure, but when we were there in January, the fire works started after we were schedudled to sail from Cozumel. They went off while still in the harbor. The captain had turned the ship in such a manner as to have the most favorable wind conditions.
