The Jamaican bread was excellent as were the drumsticks. My wife said the Mango soup was excellent. We both had the snapper for the main course and were somewhat dissappointed.

i'm confused we are going on the 7 night western in sept. Is this the menu for that night at all the restuarants? I thought the pirate party was on the deck?

This was the menu in the restaurants for that night, at 10:00 pm the deck party starts and at 10:45 they have a buffet at the goofy pool with all kinds of desserts and other things like turkey legs etc. :mickeybar

Even on the 3-night, the menu is the same in all three restaurants that night, so you will miss one of the regular restaurant menus. You will get your bandanna for the deck party at dinner. They do the pirate dinner "parade" even if you are in Animators.

does anyone know what night pirate night is on the 7 night western? also then what would be the best rotation to get if we have to give up one night?

Pirate night was on Wednesday night - Cozumel, mexico port day. We had the APL rotation, which put us in Parrot Cay for pirates night.

So the Pirate Party doesn't start until 10:30 PM? Bummer, we are obviously going to miss most of the parties if they all start this late. We will have a just turned 5 year old and a 22 month old and there is no way they can make it that late? I take it these parties are for the adults and older kids?

Shoot, I was really hoping we could go to the Pirate party. I love to dress up.

Deck party starts 9:45, not 10:30, though that may still be too late for some younger ones.

The crabcake was yummy. The Hideaway Bay Salad was basically a ceasar salad w/ "spicy" croutons (I didn't think they were spicy)-it was good. DS had the jerk chicken/plantain salad and liked it. I don't remember what everyone had to eat because I was too busy devouring my tenderloin--it was excellent. I think the desert I got was something with bananas. It was supposed to be flambeed (sp?), but it wasn't :confused3 --just mediocre. But not to worry-I had real desert at the buffet!

I keep telling myself....less than 10 weeks is not too long
it'll be here before you know it..........

Actually nothing turns me on particularly. I would enjoy some of the items but not what is served with them or with the sauces choosen. Of course 3 of the appetizers look pretty interesting. Like the shrimp and scallops look good but I hate anything in tomato sauce. Tenderloin looks good but don't like mashed potatoes or glazed carrots. The rice and beans looks good and fried okra is great but can't have real spicy.

How does the eating arrangement go?
Will we have assigned times?
Or since its so late there won't be as many people there as a regular meal???

You eat during our regular meal time in your assigned restaurant.

Also.. someone posted concern about the sauces, etc. My DH is the same. It was no problem to get any meal with out sauces, to change side dishes, etc...
