Yes, the ages are strictly 3 and up due to the makeup. It is not recommended for children under 3.

My 12 year old daughter did this for the first time in December and really loved it! We had an awesome Pirate Master, which I think makes a big difference.

She really made the experience for us. Was very tuned into my daughter the entire time and just kept it so fun.

These photos are wonderful! My girls are getting the mermaid makeovers, youngest DS is getting the Jake and oldest DS is getting the first mate. DD11 is the most excited about this experience. I will post pics of my girls' makeovers on this thread when we get back from our trip in May!

One of my girls did Empress, one mermaid, so I have LOTS of shots of both. AND part of my video is dedicated to it!

I keep trying to find the part with the Empress and Mermaid makeovers, but I just can't. Though I have really enjoyed reading your TR! And the video was so sweet! Can you tell me where the pics are? what section or something?

Yes, they were out of the flower clip when DD did it in 2012, so they gave her a set of Mickey bobby pins instead. The hair is twisted on both sides.

All three of my kids have done it. My daughters (4 and 7 at the time) liked it MUCH better than BBB which we did on the same trip.

PL is for all ages 3 and up. Not strange at all!

My bf is 26 and his friend that is going with us is 27. Both are doing Pirates League. Its perfectly fine for adults to do this as well as kids.
