Hi Jeff----I saw you replied on the heat posting. How are you doing ??? We are not kayaking in the Keys. We are in SD really enjoying the scenery.

Frank---I am going fly fishing with a local in the Spearfish Creek tomorrow. In a few days we leave for WY for 7 / 8 weeks of some serious trout fryin' up.

The local guy gave me tips about Grizzly encounters. The first is the TOBY Manuever (Picture Attached). If that does not work, it is imperative to run faster than the guy next to you.

Hi guys

I've been working on the house and around our site in the campground. I was able to buy the lot next to ours and have been doing moving some things. It's been so hot here it's hard working outside. I don't know how the people that do it for a living ever make it through the day.

Next week I hope to have my boat in the water and do some crabbing, the fishing is poor with the water temps this hot.

And we will be at the Fort for Halloween

have you seen "without a paddle".. omg, good movie. the guys are in the wilderness and come across a bear. the one starts to take his shoes off and the other says "what are you doing? you can't out run a bear". the shoe guy says "no, i just have to run faster than you."
