pirate:Take a look at the $$$ for the packages. Minimum $225 per person.
:rolleyes2

I hope they'll be adding more activities soon
- and adding park passes at those rates.
I hope people interested email those handling this event, I know I will be.

Also it does not say dinner at the Blue Bayou- it says a "taste of the Bayou"- which I believe will be like the "taste" they had at the 50th event- which was a banquet room with tables and displays set up, and the attendees got coupons and went around and redeemed them for sample plates of things from the restaurants around the resort.
Hope this clarifies the details.

I'm still trying to think positive, maybe they left out some extra important details they will be adding soon!

After checking into airfare for this event I will be passing on it. I can't justify a minimum of $358 for a plane ticket plus $235 for dinner & a movie & a "gift" or two plus I didn't even check for a hotel. I figure I'll put it towards the NFFC convention the following week. What were they thinking when they chose 4th of July week to schedule this event? If I took their Hotel package I would be looking at a minimum of $1000 for a 1 day event knowing that I will be out there the following week anyway.

Trully disgusting if you ask me.
This $235 package must be designed for the locals. I love the disclaimer for the hotel packages that says 1 guest per room. And couples have to book 1 room on 2 consecutive nights. Does this make any sense. Here's my disclaimer. (Note; The sarcastically challenged should not read)

Guests staying at Disney hotels may check in after 4pm for their 1 night stay. Remember, only 1 guest per room. We'll be watching. The package price allows you to stand in line to ride the newly ruined "Pirate's of the Caribbean" attraction beginning at 9pm. But unless you are an AP holder, you will need to buy a ticket to the park. You will also be able to PURCHASE newly created junk from the movie, most of which will be available to the general public as well. Oh and we'll give you a mint julep and possibly a couple of appetizers too. Then it's off to the midnite screening of our new movie. (personal comments reserved). After the movie is done and you have finished telling everyone how great it was (even if it wasn't) you can head off to the room that you spent an extra $300 for and get a few hours of rest before you have to check out at 11:00am.

Book your packages early because the price may certainly go up if we don't get enough sign-ups.
