Pirate cruise

We are leaving for Disney World tomorrow night. Our children have no idea. They are begging to go for SB, but we told them we couldn't. They will wake up the next day at Disney!! The real question is - has anyone been on the childrens pirate excursion and if so, which one did you enjoy. Thanks

Good morning

My son and his friend did this a few years ago. They left from the Grand Floridian. They enjoyed it, my son was almost ten at the time and I think he would of enjoyed it a little more if he were a year or two younger. They went to Island(s) and looked for treasure, cnady and pirate jewels. They were given a boxed lunch featuring uncrustable peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, juice and I believe fruit.

The boys were excited with having 2 hours with no parents as we were just as excited with 2 hours without kids!

You know, I spoke to Cap't Ron about this and he said that it is geared for the little ones, and if you have a very bright child, or one that is towards the upper age range for the cruise, to encourage them to let the younger children solve some of the puzzles. It may be very easy for the older ones to answer every question and to steal the thunder from the little ones.
