Pirate Cruise - what is it?

and how do I get on it? I have 2 little boys that would LOVE a pirate cruise! I've seen in mentioned in posts, but do not know anything about it. Are there actually pirates? Is it for all ages? Please help me understand! Thanks so much in advance!

The kids are the Pirates! Our 5 y.o. daughter loved it. They go on a boat around the Seven Seas Lagoon searching for treasure. They are provided a life vest and a pirate bandana (with Mickey Ears!!) They get a map and collect "loot" or "booty" as my daughter called it!!! They get a pretty good snack for the 2 hour cruise.

They will love it. Call 407-wdw-dine to schedule. I think it is offered twice a week and it fills up fast so call right away.

Also, the kids have to be at least 4 and completely potty trained (no-pull-ups).

Note: also have them try Grand Adventures in Cooking. Sydney absolutely loved that!!

Depending on how close your stay is, you may not be able to book this! They only take a small number of children and it is two or three days a week. I tried to book this last year for my DS about 2 months before we went. It was booked solid. This year I had Poly Concierage book it for me and I was able to get it. I know my DS is really excited about it. Hopefully, you have the same luck!

My boys will love this (if I can get it - on hold with WDW right now to check!). But is my 12yo DD too old? Is 12 too "Cool" for this trip? TIA.

As far as I know you DD is too old to participate, I believe it was from 4-10 years last time I checked. Maybe while the boys are on there pirate cruise you can have mommy and daughter manicures or pedicures in the Grand Floridian Spa. Just an idea. Have a great time .
