My kids did the Albatross Treasure Cruise at Yacht & Beach Club and they loved it. They made a couple of stops. One was at Epcot (Canada). I was surprise at Epcot. They loved going to Epcot w/o parents.

They want to do another Pirate Cruise. I'm trying to figure out which one to choose. Are they all the same? Is there diffrence (what are they)?

Does Disney's Pirate Adventure at Grand Floridian stop at MK?

Where downtown does Bayou Pirate Cruise at Port Orleans Riverside stop?

Where does Island of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise at Caribbean Beach Resort go? Their water doesn't go anywhere.

Anyone w/ past experience w/ all (or some) of these cruises?

Thanks.

Interested in this as well. My understand the one that leaves out of GF goes to other resorts.

My kids did both the one at the Grand Floridian and the one from the Yacht Club. The one at the Grand Floridian does not stop at the MK. It stops at the other resorts, Polynesian, etc.. The one at the Yacht Club made stops in Epoct. My kids loved both of them. They thought the one at the Grand Floridian was extra cool though because a storm popped up and the wind was blowing the flaps of the boat around and rain was spraying in, etc, and they thought that was cool because they felt at sea. I would say pick the one that is easiest to get to from where you are staying. We chose the Grand Floridian one when we stayed at Polynesian, and the Yacht Club one when we stayed at BC.

I work at CBR doing the Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise. Everything is constantly changing, and though we have one of the smallest lakes, I have heard that we have the best pirate cruise on property.

We take them to several different "beaches" of the resort. They are able to dig in the sand, put together map pieces, and figure out where to go next. There is an interaction with a "real" pirate who steals our pirate flag, and we have to trade fake treasure to get it back. We give them bottles of Dasani water on board, and right before they leave, we stop and have a snack of apple juice, Rice Krispies treats, and either pretzels or Goldfish. After we "find" the key to open the real treasure box, we tell them we're going to take it up to the marina to open it with their parents watching, and that's what we do.

It goes from 9:30-11:30 on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and costs $34.00 per child. Children ages 4-12 are allowed to go, and the absolute maximum capacity we'll have on a boat is 12 children. 10 is usually the cut off, but if we have 2 "walk ups," we might accept them as well. 2 Cast Members are on the boat and will be the captain and first mate of the cruise. If someone is training, there will be 3.

It's awesome, and everyone should do it! :)
