My DD(9) and DS(6) both lived it when we were there 2 years ago.
It was also a very nice time fro wife and I we had nice breakfast at GF and got to walk around and look at things. I would highly reccomend it.

My 2 boys went when they were 5 and 7 and both really enjoyed it.

Our 6 yo DS loved it, and he didn't even get to go out on the boat. Because of the weather, his group went on a treasure hunt around and through the Grand Floridian. pirate:

I went on the pirate cruise in the mid 80's. I want to say around '83 or '84. I am very excited to see that they still have this! My sister and I thought it was the neatest thing ever. I remember searching for our hidden treasure to save it from the mean pirate. The treasure was the supplies to make s'mores and Coke. This was 20 years ago and my sister(now 30) and I (almost 25) still talk about it when we go back to WDW! (can't wait to talk about it when we leave June 10)
I'm sure that it is still a wonderfully fun experience! Hey, it's Disney!

My two also loved it! DD 8 and DS 4, and my son has a peanut nut allergy and they took special care of him and I felt very comfortable leaving them both. You could hear them all singing as the boat pulled back to the dock, it was alot of fun for them! pirate: princess:

My son was 5 when he did it and absolutely LOVED it. I think it was one of his most favorite "moments".

Has anyone's child/ren done the new pirate cruise from YC/BC - the Albatross one? I would love to hear any details on the new one - it sounds like they are sailing into Epcot and stopping at some of the countries for clues. I think DNeph would love this - he loves both pirates and boats! - we'll be at BWV and it would be easy to drop him off in the morning and let my sis sleep in. :smooth:

Seriously, I don't think there is anyone out there who doesn't like Pirates of the Caribbean. And if they do, then I don't know how they like Disney. Pirates is a classic, one of my all time favorites (I will ride it like 4 times a day).

My ds (4) and 2 dds (5 and 7) did the Pirate cruise last year and liked it so much they are doing it again in July!

I just checked for the week of June 20 and both cruises are sold out. :( Also, for those who don't know, call the same number for PSs to reserve the pirate cruises (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).
