Pirate and the Parrot in August??

Does anyone know what the summer hours are for this place? We are going August 22-24 and for some reason DH wants to eat lunch here again...even though I reminded him that when we went in March the food was not that great.

For some reason I think this place is only open in the busy times of the year so I am thinking that during summer (especially leading into free dining time) it would be open

I am not sure it will be open then.. we go every year the second week of August and its never been open. We even tried to eat there last year since we had never been but it was closed.

El Pirata y el Perico? Is that the place you mean? Near the Pirates attraction at MK? If so, I'm not sure about August, but it was not open during free dining in mid September the past couple of years.

ETA: OT, but is that Spanish? LOL, obviously I don't speak it since I'm not positive that's even the place you're talking about. Since it sounds so similar in English I'm thinking it is though.

We were there last August from the 19-25, and it was definitely closed! I haven't seen anything for this year yet...

I was at WDW last Aug 25 - Sept 1 and it was closed. In 2006 we were there Aug 12 - 20 and it was open.

We went there in mid or late August in 2006 also. That was the only time in 5trips I've ever seen it open.

Yes that is the Spanish name for it but I can never remember the entire name so I call it the Pirate and the Parrot

Well I am glad it will be closed cuz I dont care for it but DH will be bummed out
