My girls did the Alice tea party last year and I was wondering about the little pirate expediditon. Can someone tell me a bit more. Also do you think at 5 years old my twins will enjoy it???

It's been a few years, but I sent our daughter on the pirate trip on our last day at the World, back in 2000. It was her 5th birthday.

We sent our 6 and 5 year old kiddos' last January. While it can't compare to the Princess Tea, the kids still enjoyed themselves. Nothing spectacular, but the price is somewhat reasonable, and the best part is Mom and Dad have had time at the Grand Floridian with NO KIDS!

I think it was around $30-35 per child. They get a small lunch (pb@j, juicebox etc), a Mickey bandana, and some small trinkets from the treasure they "find". I think we called the WDW-DINE number for our reservations.

That is similar to what we paid for the tea party but I think we will do this one instead. They will have lots of fun plus it is a bit longer.

They have several pirate cruises now, not just at the Grand Floridian. My ds did the one at the CBR last year and loved it (he was 5). I think they have one at Port Orleans too. You may want to check into these in case the date you want is sold out.

Have fun!

Nancy
