Thanks, ladies! We are very excited for the one week count, and I am very excited about getting pics up from the new cam!

That's a really cool idea!! I might have to find someone to make Aleks one too! Her pins are all over her room and hanging half on her lanyard.

BTW- try to buy the locking backs for your pins that she does not want to trade as soon as you get there!!! Aleks lost like 3 pins on our trip and was heart broken. The plastic backs kept coming off- even on mine- and didn't stay well any way we tried to wedge them on there. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip on the locking backs, Jenn, we'll definitely have to do that..we would both be very upset if any got lost!

Def don't need any tears over lost pins like we had on the first day at Disney. She lost one before she had even made her first trade! She lost her Minnie one she so loved first. I can't even remember what it looked like, but it was one she wanted to keep and not trade- so go figure- it would be the one lost! Poor kid. (Don't worry people- she got many more pins during the trip and could have gotten more if she wasn't such a tight wad with her own money!! She's rather spend mine of course! )

Okay, one more update tonight (with new camera piccies..hooray!) and then I'm off for bed! When we got to Gram's yesterday after school, I was surprised to find another package from winkers (Cherie). I did not have the camera with me, so we didn't take pics of Piper opening it, but we took pics tonight of what was inside..First we pulled out these....

A very cool Minnie tote bag for Piper! She loves it!

A Mickey tote bag for Mommy...this was so appropriate..I am what is known as a bit crunchy..granola girl, call it what you will..the point being I bring my own bags to the grocery store, and I can't WAIT to use this one!!! I'm also going to pack them in the bottom of our duffle to take with us, thinking they will definitely come in handy! Next she reached in and pulled out two packages of glow sticks! She was a happy girlie!

The next thing Piper pulled out was a card with my name on it. I love the card design, it's a cut out lace-work type design with Tink in it..I have pics of it uploading and will post the pic of it in the am. Anyway..I open the card, and there's a Disney gift card. Of course, the first reaction was tears..as I read the card I found out it was a collaborative effort of: winkers, englishrose, mrsksomeday, eandesmom, blueyedgirl, punkin, magicfor2, jordanyosh, great biscuit, and all7ofus. Once again, you all have overwhelmed me with your kindness and thoughtfulness. Thank you is just inadequate for what I'm feeling..I feel like someone in that commercial where they start saying thank you in all the different languages..so thank you...gracias, spasibo, grazie, muchos gracias, danke, mahalo, asante, merci, arigato...well..you get the idea!

Jenn always makes her own cards, and they're always so cute! So inside the package were these:

Very cool keychains..she also made the suggestion that Piper could hang hers from her lanyard, which I thought was an awesome idea! Jenn had noticed the "Breathe" tee that Piper was wearing (I have one also). "Breathe" is kind of a touch word in the CF community, in addition to the tees the blue bracelet I have on in all my pictures is a Breathe bracelet. I also have a tee. Jenn..these were absolutely perfect..I am very much a keychain girl, at any time I have probably two or three keychain "charms" attached, and this one has already been added...we them! Thank you so much!!! Piper says to tell you hello also..




I also wanted to post a pic of the cute Tink card winkers et al sent..I love the cutwork on this and am thinking it may find another use than just being scrapbooked....

Again..the pic quality on the new camera is just amazing, I got much better pics of the keychains and card than I ever could have on the old one!
