I love it, Jen, thank you so much! We are very excited about the party, even though it will only be family and her wish granters there. : Piper is feeling great *knock on wood*.. we're usually safe for about a month after she finishes a round of IVs, so hopefully that will hold true again!

Now you don't have to worry one single bit if your camera will work.
There were so many people who were ready and willing to chip in to get this camera for you, I tell you.....<welling up>.....I thought we were the one's getting to do the blessing but after seeing the response and everyone's heart...I was really the one who's sox got blessed off!!!

I knew there were a lot of people on here who's hearts were as golden as Mickey's himself, but when you see it in action.... it's just a whole other story.
Seeing everyone rally to love on you and Piper and be a blessing is more than words can say and my heart can contain.

One person may have put it into action, but it was really the collective effort and love of the DISers as a family that made this happen. I'm truly humbled and it's something I will never forget.
Thank you guys. YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Sorry I am a little late with this but I am soooo glad you got the camera as well. It was such a pleasure and a BLESSING to be able to contribute to this. You are so deserving of this and it just made my day to see you opening the camera and how happy it has made you. Actually, I was sitting in the receptionist desk of our office doing phone duty for an hour when I read that you had received it and tears were not just welling up but actually falling. People were giving me such weird looks, but hey....its happy tears and thats what counts, right?

I can't wait to see the pictures of Piper's party and the many, many pics you will take on the trip!!

Congrats on the camera! Now you'll just need to bring another memory card for all the pics you're sure to take. I can't wait to see Piper (and you and gram too!) in all the customs. You'll get lots of extra attention from CM and guests alike...my girls love wearing them for just that reason. And it's finally warming up here!!! We gotinto the mid 70's over the weekend, so hopefully it will be like that next week for you too.

Thank you so much, Anita I'll actually have the first pics up tomorrow night from another update I have a feeling if people give weird looks for tears, I'm going to be breaking the weird look record while we're at WDW! Happy tears are excellent! I still can't believe the picture quality and battery life compared to my old camera :

Thank you, Nanci ..Camille included a memory card that holds almost 900 pics!!! I was so excited to see that...and GKTW will copy from memory card to CD, so I'll definitely be doing that at least once, if not more. I'm hoping for 70's while we're there, but right now they're calling for 60's..still better than 30's though! And nooooo snow..we still have snow on the ground from a month ago..very odd for us!

Thank you so much, Tammy! My eyes have been watering so much you'd think they would be incapable by now, but the tears continue to flow. Everyone here has been so wonderful to us, and I appreciate it more than I could ever express. Isn't Camille wonderful?

Thank you all so much! I have to admit we had a great time today saying.."Just think, next Tues at this time we'll be ___________" insert..heading for the airport...waiting on the flight out of Charlotte..getting to the village..playing at Family Fun Night..and the list goes on! We're very excited for the party as well, we went to the dollar store today and got plates, napkins, etc, that were all princess themed (they had wands and tiaras on them)..she was on Eeks @ a week...and double eeks for you, Miranda..only 6 more days!!!!

A couple of days ago we were pleasantly surprised to arrive at Gram's and have a package waiting from Dan (FauntleroyFan). He had a contest to name their new PTR, and while I didn't win (nor was I expecting to..lol), the generous Dis'er who did win told Dan to send the prize to us....

He had sent a Transportation set, which is very cool..there are four pins depicting different modes of transportation at MK...

Dan, and the Dis'er who wanted no credit..thank you so much ..Piper absolutely loves having a matched set, and immediately said those were to keep and not to trade! I'm thinking when we get back I'm going to cajole my brother into making a shadowbox to put all her pins in that can be hung on her wall. I'm thinking when we get back I'm going to cajole my brother into making a shadowbox to put all her pins in that can be hung on her wall. I'm one for displaying things like that and not hiding them away. :

That's a really cool idea!! I might have to find someone to make Aleks one too! Her pins are all over her room and hanging half on her lanyard.

BTW- try to buy the locking backs for your pins that she does not want to trade as soon as you get there!!! Aleks lost like 3 pins on our trip and was heart broken. The plastic backs kept coming off- even on mine- and didn't stay well any way we tried to wedge them on there. Just a thought.
