Oh dear, oh deary me! You would have thought a rock star or celebrity of some sort had written to Aleks!!! Piper- your letter got here! And Aleks was very, very excited to say the least! She screamed, "Look! She used some of her stickers she got in the Big Give!!!" It was hysterical! I almost hit the floor I was laughing so hard. It was cute. She will be writing you back probably tomorrow, if all her homework is done and stuff. You should be getting her other letter soon too, if it hasn't already arrived. Hope you're having a good day! I stink as a DISer and friend. I should have been on here to fill you in....(I've been taking care of a little project-wink-wink ) I talked with Amanda last evening and she said today the 10th of Feb. she was suppose to get out but may have to stay another day or two because of the bad weather coming their way. Poor girls. Amanda was still very upbeat, so I don't think it will be to much torture for them to bare. She even said it would give her plenty of time to pack them all up since she hadn't really gotten to it....since there were so many CARDS!!! 125 when she last COUNTED!!!! Way to go DISers!!!
We did good!!! We filled up an entire wall from what I understand!

So here's to hoping it melts off and doesn't get any worse so they can come home. I know they are both looking forward to getting there. I can't imagine what all she will have to do to get back into the swing of things, clean out the fridge, fill the fridge back up! Do laundry.... Sheesh, Amanda will be worn out for the first few days. But! She'll be home and happy to be there.
She did say she will be so happy to be back on here and posting again, she said we may see her little green light on all the time and we'll be sick of her!
Naaaaaa, will never happen our sweet friend.
Just come home!!

We're home!! (Well..at the first stop at Gram's anyway!) I'm uploading pics right now, but won't be posting any til later tonight, at the earliest! Still have to go to WalMart to pick up milk, and the drug store to pick up meds, but boy are we glad to be OUT of the hospital! Thank you all so much for all the e-cards and mail! It really did make the stay go faster for both of us. I'll post the pics of the decorated walls and a funny story later on. As we were pulling out of the parking garage, Piper says "Let's blow this joint and all these sick people before they get ME sick again!" Smart girlie! Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
