Thanks, Liesa! The new vest is actually custom fitted based on her measurements! That in itself should make a big difference..the old one just comes in the standard s, m, l, etc.

I hope I can bring a smile to her face every once in awhile.

You do Jordan, all of you do even when you aren't cracking jokes. Her face totally lights up when she comes on here and sees all the messages people have left for her.

Thank you, Dawn Yes, Gram on skype cracks me up..the Aunt I've talked about on here got it for while they're in FL for the winter, and convinced Gram she needed to get it so they could talk! We did get it running last night after a bit of frustration on my part (I hate it when things don't work the way they're supposed to without a lot of adjustments.) When I first got a pc (way back in 93 or so) I was living with her, and she wouldn't so much as touch it! How times change...

Wow Medicaid is on the ball--usually it takes fooooorever to get anything approved so that's great news---treatments take a long time so anything that gets it all done better, faster (and without breaking, lol) is awesome news! We keep having issues with the extensions to GenevaClaire's feeding tubes--they have some sort of weird defect in the cap off area, we've never had any issues before so who knows why the quality is going down.

After much hassle, we found out they will not cover duoneb..but will cover the two different nebs that are combined to make it so I can mix it myself. The price difference is only about $50, but it takes an extra ten minutes to neb it since there's more liquid...soon I'm just going to stop bothering to unhook her!

I hear ya with medicaid !!! I deal with it daily at work, they wont cover this and they wont cover that!!! We end up making umpteen phone calls to the doctors to get stuff straightened around !!!I totally get using other tham name brands when they are the SAME, but tooo often they aren't and the generic does not work as well !!!
