Im so excited for you! And guess what, our dates overlap so we'll be at GKTW at the same time. It would be awesome to meet you and Piper. Maybe at the Christmas party??

The phone never rang. 
Piper and I left our house at about 11am yesterday, and were out until 6:30 or so. I considered calling Katie myself, but I hate feeling like I'm bugging someone, so I didn't. So we get home..and... dumdumdum...she called our home number! I have a landline that is for dial-up internet only, we don't use it, and I make a point of telling people to call my cell, but apparently wires got crossed somewhere. Of course, the message was simply "give me a call." I totally understand that but I was bummed last night.
Yes, once again..I am a bit excited! I'm grinning like an idiot and forcing myself to not start dancing around the living room! I'm looking at tickers to put in my siggy..rejoicing that we got a date in the window I wanted..(I was afraid we wouldn't since there have been other families on the boards that could not get dates in the window and had to go later..hot weather is an issue for Piper, so much later and we would have had to move the trip to winter 2010!) So..are you ready for the dates?? Are you as excited (or nearly) as I am?? Drumroll please.....

I'm hoping to do a lunch or dinner, simply because GKTW does a really good breakfast, and I'm trying to limit us to one meal a day (and a snack or two!) in the parks. So now it's a matter of figuring out which places do lunch/dinner with the characters, and which Piper would enjoy the most. She's not all that into princesses 
so CRT is probably out. I'm thinking more than likely Garden Grill or Akershus (her fave are the Aladdin characters)..she's really not that into Pooh anymore either, so CP is kind of out. What I'd like to do is narrow it down to 2-3 choices for her to choose from. Anyone else have restaurant ideas that fit Miss Piper's criteria?
Oh well. Your dates are awesome. Allears.net has good dining reviews if you haven't checked them out yet, and definitely play around with the res system online so you can see what is available. Cool!
