lol @ the price tag. Sometimes Piper is with me when I shop, sometimes not. I like to hit the thrift stores, and usually leave her with my mom when I do those, she doesn't have the patience to stand there while I go through a million racks!

She's feeling much better. Her vest actually went kaput Saturday, so I've been doing her CPT by hand..will be glad when the new one comes in today! Other than that she still has a bit of a cough, but not horrible. She goes to the CF Docs next week, so we'll see what they think. We may still be looking at IVs. On the upside, I flushed her port last night and she did MUCH better with it than usual. It was like a completely different girl. Right before I put the needle in, she says.. "I need to say something first".. I said go ahead..and she let out one big scream, then said "Okay, you can go ahead now." Stayed still, no kicking, over with in 30 seconds or so. I was sooooo proud of her, Gram and I were both all about telling her what a great job she did, how proud we were of her, etc. Hopefully the next time will go just as smoothly.

Now that Christmas is over, you can give into the Disney planning obsession that we all seem to exhibit

Lol Crystal..my planning obsession is at full throttle, believe me, I just haven't revealed it all on here yet. She is always very into examining everything as she unwraps, I felt bad rushing her along!

Thanks, Tracy! She is all about looking everything over and taking her time, I think a part of that comes from just really appreciating things like Christmas since we don't do a lot during the year as far as buying "frivolous" items... (ie toys, games, etc), it's just not in the budget. We're both very happy with our life but it does instill that sense of how special things like Christmas and her MAW trip are.

It's amazing to stop and think about what these kids go through on a daily basis. Piper sounds like she has an amazing spirit.

It really is amazing, Kelly. Normally when I flush her port Gram literally has to hold her tightly enough that she's afraid she's hurting her to keep her still. Piper really just hates it. It's even worse when we do it in the hospital, it takes 2-3 nurses to hold her down while I access her. This time, like I said, it was a completely different Piper...for once my clothes were still dry when we finished..normally they're sweat-soaked from both of us! I was so relieved I cannot even put it into words.
