Pins in carryon?

Can I put my Disney pins in my carryon? I'm going from Newark to Detroit if that matters. I don't want to leave them in checked luggage and risk them getting stolen or busted up.

I have always packed my pins in my carry on without any problems.

We always carry them on too. I put them in a clear ziploc bag just in case there's a question but there never has been.

I have always packed my pin bags in my carryon bag and never had problems with them.

We have always put ours in our carry on also with no problems. I put them in a clear tupperware container. That way the pin part won't get bent.
