Pins and Future Codes

Does anyone seem to have the discount pins/offers stop after they apply a code to their package? I applied a 20% code for part of our trip just in case nothing better came out for this fall and now I am concerned that I might not get any other offers. I havent received one in a while and I was getting them pretty regularly. Has this happened to anyone else?

No I have an August 2011 trip booked and just last week got 2 pins - one for free dining thru end of year and one for 35% off Deluxe thru end of year. I had been pricing out a holiday trip the day before on the disneysite as the email sent to me showed YC at the holidays and all the holiday nformation with the 35% off pin. And yes I booked!

Would you happen to still have this PIN and be able to share the exact dates covered? I'm curious if there are any blackout times that likely won't be part of an extension of FD to the general public. (IF there is one, of course.)

The pin I received via email was a long series of digits that was good for the holiday trip. When I called Disney regarding this PIN the CM informed me I had a free dining pin attached to my name. I wasn't interested in the free dining b/c there are 2 of us and that isn't such a good deal staying Deluxe with 2 people. So I didn' even get into the specifics on that code. Disney makes it a pain to see WHAT your pin is good for. Never states it anywhere just "select dates and resorts" blurb...with vague date ranges...

Make sure you really scroll down the whole email. Initially I didn't even notice my pin number it was WAYYYYY at the bottom off to the right...

I went and looked at my email again ....but nothing , nadda , no pin. I did notice a place to click on to email Disney so I did ask them the following.... What determines who recieves a promotional email from DisneyDestinations which includes a pin# for a discount on Resort Room Rates. I was quite excited yesterday when I saw the email from Disney Destinations in my mailbox until I opened it and found it did not include a pin# for Deluxe Resorts which I have heard many other talk about recieveing.

There was a place to enter your name email address and phone # so maybe I will hear something back

Aw sorry..I am one of those people that NEVER EVER EVER get a pin....so it was definately tailored to my pricingout a holiday vacation just one time. Bingo next day. Guess just hit or miss but what I have found is the pin is usually a preview of what is to come for general public...

So yesterday afternoon I go to my email and lo and behold there is another email from Disney Destinations, I really get excited thinking my email(see above post) I sent to Disney got some action and they were sending me a pin #.............I open the email and................nope nadda not a pin # in site AGAIN! Just the same email for a second time

Ok Disney I give up, I quit trying, I get it , no pin for me this year
