Wondering if anyone has any opinions about the food at Pinochhio house? We have never been and usually love light and crispy flatbread, but if it is thinker/bready or soggy then not our plan.

Also Jungle Navigation is new since we've been. Anyone know if the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken is like typical Chinese restaurants sweet and sour sauce. Just trying to figure out what my kiddo might eat there. Looks like the adults will love it! Any thoughts?

Ate at both of these places last December. Wanted to try Pinocchio one last time, have not eaten there in years. Would NOT go again. Loved the outdoor seating upstairs, but the flatbreads left a lot to be desired. Just not good. My daughter said it was just OK.

Jungle Navigation was wonderful.....split an appetizer and had a the cold Shiriki Noodle Salad as my lunch and added grilled chicken--a tip from my waitress, could have added chicken, beef or shrimp. It was really good. My daughter had the mac and cheese which was in a creamy white sauce and children's meals come with dessert. Atmosphere was really nice, actually cannot wait to go again in October. :stitch::cool1:

Yes to Jungle and sadly, no to Pinocchio. :confused3 Hope this helped...

The flat breads at Pinnochio house is arguably their best item and they are really good.
Between the two, I will pick Skipper Canteen every time. I love their food, and every time we have had an awesome server who tells really bad Jungle Cruise jokes.

I’m a Pinocchio fan and my wife and I enjoy their flatbread (and chicken parm). But you’re comparing qs with ts. I would personally pick Pinocchio over skippers because my kids aren’t good eaters yet and I’d rather use my ts credits (dining plan bounce back) on something they will either eat or a fun character experience.

re: Jungle Navigation sweet & sour sauce. I didn't remember any menu items with sweet & sour sauce, so pulled up the menu again & looked at it. Still don't seen any sweet & sour sauce menu items.
Ask for the S.E.A room. S.E.A. Room—a secret meeting place for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.
The kids menus are very approachable.

DD15 loves PVH! It is one restaurant she forces me to eat at multiple times each trip. I've had good flatbreads there, but I've also had pretty bad ones. I usually order the Caprese and 3 out of 4 times it's been amazing. My last visit though, it was just blah. It seemed like it had been sitting out too long. I was hungry and didn't want to waste time so I just ate it, but if it happens again I will ask for a new one. DD has always enjoyed her kids pizza (it's the flatbread, too), so one trip I decided to try the kids pepperoni. My goodness it was awful. I thought maybe it was just mine, but the next time I went with DD, I tried a bite of hers and it wasn't good. She loves it, though!

I've had the chicken dish and the sauce is a sweet chili type, spicier than sweet and sour. They will serve it on the side if you ask. :)
