Pink Exchange ~ Sent/received Thread!

Whew! Wow ~ what a few days we have had here in Florida. We were ordered to evacuate where I live so Thursday night we packed a few things and fled to my brother's house in Orlando. Thought we would be safe there. Well, you all know Charley hit Orlando. My brother said I brought it with me.

Thank God my home (Tampa Bay area) was spared. The devastation in Punta Gorda looks terrible. How sad for all those unfortunate people. My brother's house had fallen trees, but no other damage. He will be without electricity for at least 5 days, maybe more he was told. My daughter, who also lives in the Orlando area is a student at UCF, and UCF had some minimal damage. She is home for a few days because she also has no power.

Sorry for rambling on, but all this has upset me....~we just got home today and I found a pink package from none other than exchange queen Meriweather. It was a nice surprise to open. I received:

pink measuring cups
pink measuring spoons
hot pink post it note
pink ball
pink princess pencil
pink lotion
pink toothbrush
pink beads
pink bead kit
pink butterfly cookie cutter
pink bubbles
pink mickey antenna head ~ my absolute favorite things!
and.....
a DIS button that had my screen name ADisneygirl printed on it too! ~ how unique! Love it!

I think I got it all -- what a lovely package! Thank you so much Nancy for all the pink things. I loved them all.

Also, I must add that I did not mail my own package out on time. So sorry, but Charley sidetracked me. I am mailing tomorrow after school.

I got home uesterday from a visit to my daughter and my pink package had arrived from Teri (momof2oh's mom).

It contained:

a little pink whoopee cushion

a key ring with a little pink book

several pink stickers

some pink mickey suckers and stawberry candies

pink gift bag

pink mickey antenna topper

Tinkerbelle Wallet (DD staked claim rather quickly)

pink notepad (DD was very happy with this!)
Pink bath pillow (my dh just put a new whirlpool tub in out bathroom so this will be a wonderful addition!

Ok, my package should be going out tomorrow. Would've gone out today if the post office was open! RRRRRRRRRRRRR.....

I survived Charley but a tree on my property fell over onto my neighbor's house! Its roots are lifting my central air unit and its cement block! It also appears to have cracked the floor of my garage!

Oh well, I guess that's what homeowners insurance is for. At least no one got hurt, right?

I'm so glad you liked it. I just had to go to the Disney Store to find something with Tink on it when I saw I had you. This was a challenge to find something for Tink that was pink instead of green. But I kinda knew where that would go. LOL
