Pink ATG gun

I could have kicked myself. I had no plans of running into Michaels yesterday but ended up going in for cupcake papers. Of course while I'm there I needed to stroll through the scrapbook section. I had just been to ACM where they didn't have my Glue Glider refills so I thought I'd just take a look at M's adhesives. Wouldn't you know it they had 2 Pink ATG guns sitting there on the shelf. I checked the shelf price and it said $99.99! Took at closer look at the shelf tag and the price was for one of the Xyron machines. Had the checker check the price and it was I believe $34.99 (or $35.99). Of course I had no coupon with me so I passed on it. I was hoping to talk the checker into giving me the discount but it didn't work. Funny thing is she asked me if I wanted to get there emails and get coupons. I amazes me how these checkers that you see ALL THE TIME don't remember that your in there all the time? So bottom line ... the Pink ATG Guns are at M's.

I spray painted my red ATG gun to pink and put rhinestones on it! What a great price!
Did they have the refills. I am getting low and do not want to pay for shipping. This is going to be great getting refills with a coupon!

I didn't look for the refills ... I was just so excited to see the gun. I will check next time I stop by. The gun came with 2 rolls of tape.

BUMMER! I went today with a 50% off coupon and they didn't have any yet. They said they will restock the whole SB section in the next few weeks and then they may get them....

I'm so bummed myself. I bought the red gun not long ago, and haven't used it enough to justify buying the pink one. I love pink!!

I get my ATG refills from papermart.com - I like the 'no name' ones.

My glue glider is going in the yard sale on Saturday, I HATE it.

I actually just got a Glue Glider about a month ago and do like it better than glue sticks for mounting photos but for the first time couldn't get refills at ACM the other day ... I'll be stocking up on the refills for my ATG and hopefully not have a problem with being stuck with no tape. I do not want to have to go back to glue sticks!

SCORE! I found one at the second store I checked tonight!

I couldn't find it after checking in the adhesive section and around that area. DH actually found it for me! It was on a wire rack on the side of an endcap in the Scrapbook section. There were only two and it was down at the very bottom of the rack with other adhesives. I probably would have never found it if dh hadn't seen it. Mine was $21 before tax with the 40% coupon.

On the same rack there were coupon pads for Scotch Try Me Free Mail-In Rebates for their Adhesive Dot Roller and also their Scrapbooker's Glue.

I've been to 3 M's and they look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for help looking for one. Maybe next week they'll get it in, but our M's are really awful so I'm not holding my breath.

I saw them today at my M's. They had 2. I almost got one, but I was thinking to myself "why do I need another one". I already have one at home that I painted and added all kinds of stuff too. So I put it back and used my coupon on a irock.

Yeppers. I found it in the section where the brads and the itop and tag thingy are located. They also had several of the jewels and glams packs.

I have to laugh that everyone who is seeing the Pink ATG at M's is saying that they saw 2 ... that's all that I saw too. This just goes to show that M's has no idea what scrappers are interested in getting. The one I got was stuck on a shelf in the adhesive section in a spot that was marked $99.99 ... the sticker was for an Xyron something-or-other.

Just wanted to let you all know that I checked M's this weekend and no ... they do not appear to be selling the tape for the ATG gun ... in fact I didn't even see any more of the Pink guns. I think getting one is just going to be hit or miss.

My Mike's has plenty of the ATG refills but were sold out of the pink gun. The regular refills we 5.99 for two and the acid free refills were 9.99 for two.
