Do you love pin trading? I know I do. It's not a cheap hobby, but it's really fun. Do you have any really rare pins? Tell us about them. Do you go on eBay and buy pin lots? Have you ever gotten some cool ones? Ever traded with a cast member and got anything awesome?

I have one where it's Oogie Boogie in a Christmas light. I went to the pin people in Downtown Disney and they told me never to trade it. I can't find anything about it online.

be careful when buying of ebay... the past two lots we've gottne have been all scrappers. it's really upseting. plus i found out one of my favorite pins is a scrapper.

check out: pinpics you can look at new released pins, plus look up pins you've gotten and check for scrapper alerts!

How can you tell the difference between a real pin and a knock off?

there are several signs...
there is a border around the micky stamp on the back, it feels lighter than a normal pin, discolorations, untrimmed medal around the end, mis-spelled backstamp, falty design(i had a jessie without spots on her pants), color drips etc...

like i said compare your pins to that on the website.

and GoofyGirlxoxo (sorry, I'm bad with names!)- this is totally off topic, but- it took me a second to realize who was in your siggy! I was like "That guy looks just like Justin Bieber... but older." and then I realized it was JB. He looks so different (so much older) in your siggy I know why now! His hair isn't all bowl shaped and swooped! I like it better how it is in your sig.

I need to get so many more pins. One I know is an official Disney Pin. The other I'm not sure since I can't find it anywhere. Good thing I've planned which ones I'm getting for the next trip (buying I mean).

wowwww goofygirlxoxo its about 7 months until we got back. it will come before we know it. but anyway, as you know i am a pin trading freak. i just recently found 10 old pins that i found from my first pin collection that i had fro 1st grade so about 8 years ago, it was truly a dream come true!
