Pin Trading on Magic?

My family will be very upset if there is pin trading onboard the ship and they don't bring their pins. Does anyone know if the CMs trade? They aren't serious traders, so they aren't looking to trade with collectiors. They just interested in CMs with lanyards.

I noticed them trading pins in the Atrium a few nights for sure. We aren't pin traders, but I did notice people trading pins.

There are pin trading events as highlighted in the Navigator....they set up a kiosk on deck 3 near Guest Services where they offer LTD Edition pins and trade as well

My girls had such fun pin trading w/all the CMs!! I really think that was the highlight of their trip...it also gave them opportunity to get to know lots of people and talk to CMs from different countries and some even gave them additional pins "just because". We are going again on the Magic in October and my Dd hopes that she will she Jonathan again (one of the CM's that was so very kind to her).
Anyway...don't forget your pins and have fun!!!

When we were on the Magic in Nov '02, there was always CMs wearing lanyards in the stores, as well as at the desk and other places around the ship. You would find CMs at the shows in the evening wearing lanyards as well.

On top of that, at 7PM in the main lobby, the "pin cart" would come out with a load of new pins to buy. Plus, the CM running the cart had a lanyard as well as a pin book that was there for you to do your own trades. We just paged through the book on our own and traded whatever we wanted. It was great!

What else can I say, except Take all the pins you can for trading!!!!!
