Ok I got a lot of stupid questions. I don't pin trade, don't know anything about it. I am thinking this is something my 6 year old might enjoy but I really don't understand it. How does it work? My DS is not really shy, but he might be hesitant to go up to people and ask for things. Also, is it appropriate for his 4 year old sister, or would she be too young? How does he know what to do? I am thinking I would get some off ebay to start (I know only reputable people). I can't spend tons on this, so I am not sure if it is something I should let him do. Is it really expensive? He does like collecting things.

Check out the Good/Bad eBay Pin Sellers thread ;)

All your children have to do is find a Disney Cast Member with a pin lanyard (almost all of them have one), walk up to them, ask them if you can see their pins, tell them what pin you want, offer one of your pins, and trade. It's that simple :). Check out the pin trading guidelines too. Cast members also have teal/green lanyards, and those CMs can only trade with kids.

Pin trading is appropriate for both of your kids' ages. Nittany gave you good advice, have fun trading!! :)
