pin trading events

Does anyone know of a listing of upcoming pin trading events? We will be in Florida in April and would love to know if there is anything scheduled.
Are there any books about pin trading that you could recommend?
My daughter is 12 and pin trading has been one of her favorite things to do! I'd love to get her a guide book. Thanks!
