Pin Frustration and a question ...

About 3 years ago, I booked (and paid for) a room for my parents. I had all the documents sent to my house and confirmations sent to my email since I really didn't want them to see the price tag.

So, now, I get email Pin Codes ALL THE TIME ... but they are always in my Dad's name. Seriously. I think I've received every one offered, but they are always addressed to my Dad. It's the same email address I use for our Disney vacations, etc., but I never get a pin in my name. GRRR...

Anyway, my parents are not going back to Disney. BUT, my brother wants to book a trip ... he has the exact same name as my Dad, do you think he can book with that pin?

you're not alone. my sister and i have taken 3 trips together in the past two years. we booked two in my name (1 i paid for 1 our mom paid for) and one in her name where she paid) this year we each got a pin code. one to my email in her name...doesn't make sense can only figure that when i booked us last year it was for her birthday then she got a pin by snail mail in my name but to her mailing address...go figure but i called gave the code in my name that had her address on it and the woman on the phone just fixed the address (the trip is a surprise for her birthday) of course it's a trip for the two of us so since she's also going maybe that made the difference for them giving it to us.

Last year, my sister (who lives in my house) received a free dining pin for the dates I was going (it was during the October black out). She forwarded me the e-mail and I booked online. After I confirmed her last name, pin number, and the address that documents were being sent to, I was able to list myself, DH and DD as the guests. My sister (who has a different last name than I do) was never even on the reservation. We had a great time and enjoyed the free dining.
I think that in this day, a last name does not always apply to everyone in a household. As long as the address is the same, you should have no issue. Book online and have a great trip!
