pin event in DLRP

Already sold it to the boys, won't tell Rob yet until I've more details, I hope the tickets aren't too expensive, he's still coming to terms with the £89 I spent last night booking the LN and Birthday Cake. :rotfl:

jill u gotta go to it!!!!!!!!!!!!
how fab if maleficent was there - am jealous already (and cant spell as rushin around :lmao: not able to mutitask atm - havin a male moment;) )

I can be pretty scary myself !!! :rotfl:

Noticed on Disney Central Plaza that it says 8.30 to midnight. :scared1:

I'm talking myself into it now, how cool would it be to be in the park at midnight?

Sod it, I'm going, whatever the tickets cost.

If Maleficents there I'm there, along with my collection of pins of her.

I'm wondering would they hold the event in PM, surely it's not big enough but that would be so cool and I've always wanted to walk up those stairs.
Failing that the PM Halloween show they did in 2004 or 2005 was fabulous I'd love to see that.
See what I mean my imagination is running away with me. :rotfl:

Both myself and my sister are driving down for the event.
I have just had an email from Partick ( @ dlrp pin trading ) and park admission is not neaded for the event, and costs and more details will be posted on the web site very soon!

Jill you HAVE to go!

As soon as we get some more info, I'll be onto it. :)
I've had a trawl around and found that there was an event in Dec. at the HNY and tickets were 29 euros to shareholders, but it did include an American breakfast. So, hopefully we're looking at the same price or less, otherwise it could be a tough decision between booking this or eating during our stay. ;)

So on the official Disney Pin Trading site it now says:

Engrave the date in your calendar...

Reservations are open at +33.8.25.30.60.30

But it's in French and my limited French tells me there are 2 options, no idea what they are though, will try ringing tomorrow.

Nikki if you're reading this can you answer a few questions for me please ?
Can anyone attend ? i.e. Can we go as a family and do we have to set up a pin trading stall or can we just nosey around ?
Thanks
Jill.:)

Anyone who buys a ticket can attend. no one needs to trade unless they want.
One of the joys with this sort of event is I would presume the ride HM will be open and food will be included.(at least it ws for the TOT event) I would guess if TOT event was anything to go by then the trading will be held in one of the quick service restaurants. TT was open for 1 hour I think It was dec 2007 and I can't remember now.
There is usually a gift pin included in the cost and a chance to buy other pins.
I booked this afternoon and it cost 38 euros with a dream pass. The folks I booked with - the Spanish national line knew nothing about it at all. But it was on their computer so I would try the uk line first as 2 friends have booked through the UK line. This sort of event goes very quickly as it is in the park (I presume)
It is a lot of fun and a great chance to get to see some really awesome pins. I have just started deciding which ones I will bring to trade.

For more questions please ask. It would be great to meet up with some folks from here.

I phoned and it's £30/adult £27/child or £27 each with shareholder's discount. They had no information whatsoever on what was included in the price and for £108 total (with my shareholder's discount) I'd really like to know what I'm paying for.

OT In light of events this week - Rob was hit off his motorbike on Sunday and isn't able to work, we think the bike (his only transport) will be written off, (subject to accessor's visit), so I'm not in a position at the moment to spend frivolously until we know the outcome of that.
So at the moment it's a no. :sad1:

I got 2 tickets today (£30 each) after been passed from person to person, nobody knew anything about it? Anyway I told them the date and they found it that way, again no details as to whats included, but as per other events at this price range food and drinks were included.
Anyway its a nice little Disney pin trading "fix" till we go to WDW in August:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

but as per other events at this price range food and drinks were included.
Were they able to confirm that for you ? As the CM I spoke to didn't know, the inclusion of food does make it much more reasonable. :)

Well done on the booking, it sounds as though it'll be fun.:thumbsup2

sorry to hear about rob - is he ok??? :grouphug: can understand the waiting bit, so hope that if the bike is written off, u get good money back....

but, the event does sound rather good, so hope u can go.....

Thanks for the concern Nikki :)
He's OK got very stiff neck and shoulders, he was stationery in traffic and a car drove straight into the back of him. Hoping he's recovered before our trip or the coasters are going to be out of the question.
