Pin Event Happenings and Goings On

O.k., so I have the list of things happening at the actual Event, but I see posts that say I must get to this little meet and that little meet. How does one find out about all the "side" events that are happening? Don't want to miss out on something really fun here. Does anyone have absolutely "must do's" on their list? I have not planned one thing past Friday's breakfast and i am kind of worried about that.

I have to correct myself, I did sign up for the GPEII, but are there other get togethers happening too?

Well, First of all don't forget AZ Jeff and MeanLaureen's small (LOL) event. Then there's the Friday night Contemporary meet, and at the same time there's one at Port Orleans as posted on dispins. Then there's Saturday night at the Poly, and at the same time AZ's shindig at the All Star Movies.
And then Sharon is trying to collect a group to ride rides!!!
Not only is there too much to do, but we have to decide which thing to attend. I'm already exhausted and I don't leave till this time next week.

You say you signed up for the Great Pin Adventure II. Did you read the information from Jeff and Lauri on the Seven Wonders of the World? There are six mini-meets leading up to the big pin meet on Saturday. We begged Jeff and Lauri to cut back this year but we'll be running all over the parks again. There are actually 3 mini-meets on Thursday, starting at 11:30 am at Kiliminjaro Safari. I've done my best to get all the GPAII mini-meets and the non-GPAII meets onto my agenda and there is NO WAY to do them all. I guess the one I would not miss for anything is Thursday at 10:00 pm at the Adventurer's Club.

Well, I guess the information must be scattered throught the stories, because I tried to find a list of what was going on where and didn't have much luck. Will have to go back and see what I can find. Thanks for the tip.

Went back and found the post here on the Board rather than at the GPAII site, much easier to read than the one at the site, thank you.

You guys are right, too many places to be. Is everyone planning on attending each of these meets?

i'll be at the ones happening on Saturday with Sharon and Peggie/Not Darlene and maybe Ramva and Kathryn and Lisa. Of course, Matt and Lauri and Jeff are going to be there. I'm not sure if Trina is. There aren't many guys going? This is starting to look like a girls day at the parks. Hope to see you there!

I'll be at the Saturday night event as well as Thursda night at AC. A bit late at AC as I have interpeters set up to do the Balderdash Cup. That lets out about 10:15.
